abhaya believe that change is possible in the world only through education. In our country where still much of the rural folk and even a degree of the urban folk are illiterate, it is imperative for both the government, the corporates and in general the society to ensure that people are encouraged and motivated towards education. In pursuit of this noble objective, abhaya now hosts nearly 400 students in two schools at Anantapur and East Godavari districts, where children are provided with complete free education along with their clothes, books, food and other learning resources.
At abhaya our focus in education is essentially on higher education. We believe that the impact we cause at a higher educational level could be much higher as change and opportunities occur at a quicker pace and educated older youth can contribute to the society faster. Higher education is the real game changer in the progress of a country and abhaya believes in it in its complete essence.
